Abi Moran has been appointed as managing director of Target McConnells. She replaces Geoff McGrath who has stepped down from the agency to join Core Media as MD of Starcom.
Prior to taking up her new role, she was deputy managing director of the agency. Her replacement as deputy managing director is Paul Fisher, the agency’s head of strategy and planning.
Moran began her career working for CheethamBell JWT in the UK where she spent six years. After that she returned to Ireland and worked for the design agency Huguenot for a year before joining what was then RMG Target as group account director.
In 2011, she then joined Target McConnells as client service director. The agency was formed following the merger of McConnells and Target and which is affiliated to WPP. In 2012, she was appointed as deputy managing director.
