Core Media has launched details of its 2016 Graduate Recruitment programme.
Acording to the group, the Core Graduate programme in 2015 was hugely successful with hundreds of applicants being narrowed to an intake of ten graduates. This year, it is hoping to replicate this with a view to increasing the number of people it hires to 15.
Alan Cox, CEO of Core Media says ““last year’s graduate programme was a great success and we are looking forward to building on that this year. I am pleased that we are in a position to expand our intake from ten to fifteen people in 2016. Also, we have some really interesting ideas to make the experience even more worthwhile and enjoyable for all candidates. I am looking forward to the programme.”
He points out that as well as a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits, all successful candidates receive on the job training in one of the eight companies comprising Core Media in addition to a year of structured training courses covering all aspects of media, run by its in-house training centre, Core Knowledge. This is all undertaken with a view to the graduates becoming permanent full time employees after the graduate year is completed.
Launching the programme with a targeted media campaign incorporating outdoor and digital on the 15th Feb, interested graduates are asked to apply with CVs that don’t follow convention, with the best potential “media heads” being invited to take part in an innovative fun interview process in June and successful candidates being welcomed into Core in September.
