Barry’s Tean and Thinkhouse have collaborated to launch a new art-inspired campaign called “We Make Tea, You Make Art.”
The campaign was inspired by the community of Barry’s Tea “superfans” who have always, unprompted, felt motivated to make and share their own Barry’s Tea fan artwork.
‘We Make the Tea, You Make the Art’ is running across social, digital, OOH / DOOH channels. In addition, a unique, bespoke line of merchandise to accompany the campaign has also been created.
The campaign launched this week featuring a collaboration with fan and artist Claire Provost who created a unique piece of art inspired by her take on the nation’s love of Barry’s Tea. The artwork is featured on billboards across the country, showcasing the unique blend of creativity and tradition that makes Barry’s Tea an icon of Irish culture. The artwork will also be turned into a limited-edition Barry’s Tea branded crew neck sweatshirt.
According to Camille O’Flanagan, head of marketing, Barry’s Tea: “We’re very excited about this campaign and to kick it off with such a talented artist as Claire. Barry’s Tea has a long-standing reputation as a much-loved Irish brand, and this collaboration is a small way to demonstrate our commitment to supporting Irish culture and the arts. We‘re looking forward to seeing the fan artwork that comes in.”
Claire Provost adds: “Barry’s Tea is such an iconic part of Irish culture and I wanted to create a piece of artwork that would reflect that. I hope people will enjoy the artwork as much as I enjoyed creating it.”
