The creative account for mobile phone company Meteor is out to pitch following a decision by Rothco to resign from the account two weeks ago.
A number of agencies will now be invited to pitch for the account in a process that will be overseen by pitch-doctor Brian Sparks of Agency Assessments. Agencies likely to figure in the final shake-out include the likes of DDFH&B, which already handles eir, the group which owns the Meteor brand and has worked with Vodafone in the past, Publicis Dublin and Cawley Nea\TBWA.
Rothco’s decision to resign the account comes just weeks after the agency launched its latest campaign for Meteor which is currently running across various platforms. It also comes soon after its decision to resign from the Liberty Insurance account.
