Verve the Live Agency has been nominated as a finalist in the longest running and most prestigious global event awards for its Seasonal Party “Grand Hotel Google”.
Verve are competing in a highly competitive category – Best Event Produced for a Corporation or Association – which recognises and rewards excellence in this field. The nomination sees Verve pitched against 2 other international agencies, the highly respected event innovators, Phenomenon Marketing, based in China and industry stalwart MGM Grand which plans and executes large, scale big budget extravaganzas in Las Vegas.
“We are delighted to be chosen by the Special Event committee as a finalist in this category; which recognises the very best corporate events globally. I would like to thank the event team from our longstanding client, Google Dublin, especially Niamh Corr and Karoline O’Sullivan who worked very closely with us to deliver Grand Hotel Google. This was an event for over 3,500 guests in the RDS last December. The level of detail, design and guest experience was pretty special”, said Verve founder Ronan Traynor.
Verve will be carrying the flag for Ireland along with Dublin firm Euro Events, also nominated in a separate category for their work on BMW. Fingers crossed for the double.
The Special Events Magazine Gala Awards are recognised as the Oscars of the global event industry and this year the international committee judge finalists from 9 countries. The Special Event Awards ceremony will be hosted in Long Beach California in January 2017.
