The Lowdown:
This Christmas Meteor want the people of Ireland to get more of what they really
want. We all know Christmas is a time for giving but it’s also a time for getting. To
make sure you are not disappointed with your gift, you need to get hinting. From
this truth was born the campaign idea ‘Merry Hintmas’, created by DDFH&B/JWT.
The campaign launched with a 30” TV ad that highlighted how you get more of what
you really want with the Meteor network and was then followed by two 20” TV ads to
promote handset offers. The TV ads tell the story of the extreme measures people
go to ensure their present will be a Meteor present. The idea was expanded with a
fully integrated campaign including digital, radio and OOH. Social channels
activated the thought even further of helping the people of Ireland to deliver their
hints.
