RTÉ Media Sales has announced that SEAT Ireland is the new sponsor of Eastenders on RTÉ. The sponsorship will last for 12 months, beginning this week.
The deal comprises of idents on television on all episodes across the 12 month sponsorship. The soap which has been broadcast on RTÉ One since March 2001 continues to be hugely popular with over 1 million viewers every week.
According to Ruth Kennedy, RTÉ Sponsorship Executive: “We are delighted to have SEAT Ireland on-board as sponsors of Eastenders on RTÉ. Eastenders has long established itself as one of Ireland’s favourite soaps, which continues to deliver big audiences and drama from the residents of Albert Square. This year-long sponsorship is the ideal platform for SEAT to connect with the weekly audience of over 1 million for the show.
SEAT Ireland’s Head of Marketing and Product, Neil Dalton adds: “As SEAT embarks on the biggest product offensive in its history, we looked for a media partner that can allow us communicate so many new models over the next 12 months and integrate successfully into each model launch.
